What to Look For in a Baseball System
What to Look For in a Baseball System
When I first got serious about getting good fastpitch prospect advice, and trying to get better hitters, I really didn't have much of a choice. My Dad had given me his scout's information when I was a little kid, and I just took it all for granted. He said that the best baseball systems were going to cost $200 or more, and they weren't likely to be very useful, since they were so expensive. And I didn't want to spend that kind of money! Fortunately, I came across a very helpful book called The Baseball bible by Lou Pomadow.
After reading this book, I was very thankful that I could afford to spend that kind of money on a good system. I learned that there are some great baseball systems out there, and that I should be able to find them for around twenty dollars. It also made me realize that most of the things that I had been doing were just flat-out wrong! So I did a little research, and I bought a system that changed my entire career!
So I am here to share with you what to look for in a baseball system. What do you want from your system? What are some of the common problems that I have seen over again when I was trying to find good scouting advice?

One: Bad scouting advice is everywhere. I know that I heard so many bad things about certain systems when I was looking for good pitching information that I pretty much gave up. If a system says that you should put three strikes and a ball in play every time, and then give you an advice that says that you should do just the opposite, you can pretty much count on that being true. It's just bad scouting.
Two: Poor quality prospects are always included in every great system. The problem is that the best prospects are not selected in the major leagues. These prospects have either signed for big money or they haven't developed the necessary skills to be ready at the major league level. Therefore, they are left here, and you are stuck choosing between them and the good ones. What to look for in a baseball system?
Three: Little to no successful players are always included in every great system. Most of the time, these are players who couldn't even make it to the big leagues, so why should you choose them to begin with? You need to choose players who have proven themselves in the minors, because these players have shown what they are capable of. So, if you want to know what to look for in a baseball system, this is exactly what you should be looking for.
Four: Little to no successful players are always included in every great system. Again, there are a lot of them on every roster. There are just too many other players who are better than these guys to make it. These players will either go straight to the majors, or they'll go someplace else. Therefore, you have to choose wisely. What to look for in a baseball system?
These are just a couple of things you should always be keeping in mind when choosing what to look for in a baseball system. If you're a true baseball fan, you already know all of the above. For those who don't follow the game as much, these details might not mean anything to you. Either way, you still need to find a good system. Baseball isn't going anywhere any time soon. Take your chance and find the best system that helps you succeed!
